Don't forget Lisa Greene! We always enjoy having her there and hopefully she will join us in the shooting real soon.

New shooter Shy Shari tries her hand at Blackpowder: Mainspring let us shoot his Sharps: Rancher Ronnie from Sodville gets a lesson in loading a Cap & Ball revolver: ... and then gets to shoot the gun: Lots of slow action at the reloading table: And the shoot ended with a Bang as the sun sets: I think if you click on this last picture, it will take you to Photobucket, and let you watch it as a video. -WM

Verdadero Apparently, Yes. But here they are anyway. The scores are incomplete due to the fact that most of us were having too much fun to write down scores. -WM (don't tell 3Reds, no one wrote down her scores, so I just guessed on her ... Shhhh!)Attachments:

Thanks! That did it!
I think the times that were recorded were pretty respectable since it was the first time many had shot black powder. There is definitely an "art" to it... I hope we'll do it again, sometime.

How about next July 4?
And speaking of extra stuff, are you and Dusty Lawdog going to try to get something going for long rifle competition for Labor Day?
Or are you afraid 3Reds will show you up again with her puny Marlin?

Ha! Well, she's already whipped me once, I darn sure wouldn't bet against her doing it again!
I haven't communicated with Dusty Lawdawg about a Labor Day Shoot. I got the idea, somewhere along the way that he might be interested in a long range shoot. I'm always up for a little shooting. I've actually shot my Sharps quite a few times, but only at 50 yards. The crop, on the home place, is in and so I can move the target on out a little further, as the Spirit moves me...
