Hey Everyone, Weatherman says we may catch a slight break on the temperature this coming Saturday for our match. Hope so. Look for 6 courses of fire with round count of 60 for pistol, 60 for rifle, and probably 20 for shotgun. If I were to have a title for this match it would be choices since on just about every stage you have some sort of a choice as to how you shoot the targets. Hope to see you Saturday at the match!

I thought Dream Chaser put together a really great match, in spite of the fact that some seriously bad juju broke out about half way through. Dusty Lawdawg's mini-exorcism seemed to help quite a bit, but came a little late in the game for me!
I was really pleased with the way Posse 1 jumped in and took care of posse duties. I don't think anyone wants the match to get too regimented, but there are certain things that must be done. Posse 1 pitched in and helped make things run smoothly all day long!
We are certainly blessed to have Janet preparing our meals for us. She continues to out do herself. Everything was absolutely delicious!

I had a great time! Somehow I was able to defend myself against the bad juju and I was able to shoot better than I usually do. I missed Wandering Man. I have to not talk about yesterday too much or he gets a serious pouty look.

Thanks for the kind words. It was great that we were able to shoot all 6 stages and still eat at a nice time. Posse 1 was fantastic except I really wish Verdadero and Lobo would not share their bad JuJu. I picked a little of it up. Thank goodness it didn't strike me till late in the game. I hope the other posse had a good time as well. Hardest thing for me was choices. I did not always choose well. Looking forward to next month's match. Only problem for me is that afterwards I have to drive back to McAllen for our match here in the valley on Sunday. Our season starts in October. Thank goodness for the 9am start time at Gamble Gulch. Helps people like me get to where they need to be and saved our bacon in the summer heat. All are invited to come shoot with us on the Sunday after the Gamble Gulch match.

Do we know who is going to be match director for the October shoot?
