Don't mix well. I was leaving Lowe's yesterday with one hand on my hat and one hand on some paint chips, when I saw a cart rolling through the lot at a pretty good clip. It was on its way to a shiney new SUV, and I could stop it from colliding if I tried. It was either my hat or the cart, I chose the cart.
My hat took off and flew nearly to the other end of the parking lot. After putting the cart in its place I started the long trek toward my hat, hoping no one would drive over it, or that it would catch another breeze, staying just out of my reach.
I looked up and watched as a pickup pulled up along side my hat. A man got out, reached down and snatched the wayward hat before it could take off again.
He walked the wayward hat over to me, with a big toothless grin. I didn't get his name, but I am thankful to a stranger who thought enough of my battered old hat to return it to me.
He told me he reckoned he could save my hat for me, since I'd saved someone else's car.

That's a good story. I wish I could have been there. But, if I was with you then you could have sent me after the cart. Maybe you should have just put the yucky paint chips in your mouth.

The cart was moving fast, and you don't weigh all that much. I'm afraid you would have gone the way of my hat, or got run over by the cart, or both!
